1. Product Introduction of Ambient Temperature Intelligent Swell Meter NP-02A
Ambient temperature intelligent swell meter is mainly used to test the hydration and swelling characteristics of clay shale under ambient temperature and atmospheric conditions and to evaluate the optimal anti-collapse drilling formulas. It consists of a host computer and data sampling system.
The instrument adopts dual channels under ambient temperature and atmospheric conditions, and synchronously compares measurements to reduce test errors, save time, and improve work efficiency. The hydration and swelling process of clay shale can be obtained under different pressure conditions. It is an advanced clay test instrument for scientific research and production. It has greatly saved space. Besides, as an instrument that can be directly connected to the computer., it is an optimal paperless recording method that can bring down the cost compared with roll-chart recorder.
2. Working Principle of Ambient Temperature Intelligent Swell Meter NP-02A
Hang the compacted shale sample (with the shale sample cup) on the hanger and zero the meter. Fill the liquid cup with test solution and lift the cup holder to make the solution flow into the test cup. The hydration and swelling characteristics of clay shale results in upward displacement, after which, the sensor generates a signal and transmits it to the computer, which records the real-time change curve and corresponding digital recording data in accordance with the displacement as the sample swells with time.
